2016 Summer Scholarship Program

With summer just around the corner, families are preparing for long, hot days, ice cream cones and cool, refreshing swims in the pool. Just like everyone else, our ASD families are gearing up. Searching for the right summer programs and activities to keep their kids engaged and moving forward while school is out. Looking for a little refreshment for themselves. Myles-A-Part offers two programs we hope will help!

Myles-A-Part wants to help Georgia ASD families who might have trouble affording summer programs or camps. We have (25) $500 Scholarships available. Obviously, funding is limited, so those with the greatest need will have first priority. Families who have the NOW or COMP waivers should not apply and are ineligible for funding.

Eligible families, find the application HERE. Contact us at with questions.

The deadline is Thursday, March 31.

Holiday Program For Single Parents

Tis the Season

2014 marks the SIXTH year of our Holiday Program for single parents raising kids with Autism. It is our privilege to link arms with single parents in the Atlanta metro area doing their best for their families. The program pairs single parents with folks in the community eager and excited to help make Christmas special for these families.

Who is eligible?   Atlanta metro area Single parents raising at least one child diagnosed with Autism.

If you would like to apply, download the application here:  Holiday AFP14_App

Who are Sponsors?   Typically, small groups of people sponsor families. Businesses, church groups, school groups, therapy centers, book clubs, etc…We try to pair the size and need of the family with the size and capacity of the group. Individuals willing to sponsor a family are, of course, welcome, too. Sponsors not in the Atlanta metro area are WELCOME! You wouldn’t get to meet the family you sponsor, but could ship gifts. We have appreciated all of our out-of-state sponsors in past! 🙂

If you would like to sponsor, email For an overview of what sponsorship entails, click here:  HAFP SponsorOverview.

If you would like to contribute financially in lieu of sponsorship, click HERE.

Happy Holidays! Thank you for your support!
